At age sixteen, Amy was chosen to play the lead role of Christine as understudy in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh's UK tour "The Phantom of the Opera".
Trained at both the Arts Educational School in Tring and with the National Youth Music Theatre
A classically trained singer, she fulfilled her childhood ambition of recording her first album, "Best Days", in 2005.
Had a four year relationship with her then "Emmerdale Farm" (1972) co-star Ben Freeman.
